Mud baths of Lo Pagan

San Pedro del Pinatar is located on the Mar Menor, a salt lake on the Costa Blanca and is known for its salt production and medicinal mud baths. During the summer months you can see people on Lo Pagan beach who rub themselves in mud and then let themselves dry in the sun. Then they bathe in the sea. The water of the Mar Menor contains a lot of iodine. People with joint complaints or skin problems indicate that these treatments reduce the complaints.

The mud baths are free !. All ages can use the mud baths, and if real hard you do this of course also during the winter months. The mud baths are located at the end of the beach and the beginning of the Salinas walking and cycling route to the sea. Just walk down the stairs and lubricate with the therapeutic mud. Very good for all skin types, complaints and pains. Dry in the sun for a while, then go back into the water to rinse it all off!
